Cherry Burton Pre-School Get Welcome Boost From Newest Agent In Town
Cherry Burton Pre-school’s annual Christmas raffle has received a welcome boost this year from award-winning estate agents, Woolley & Parks, who have donated the star prize of a crate of champagne.
This Driffield-based agent, which opened up in Beverley last month, has wasted no time in getting involved in the local community, choosing to support the work of Cherry Burton Pre-school, which is rated outstanding by Ofsted.
Mark Woolley, co-founder of Woolley & Parks Estate Agentswas delighted to help this local Pre-school. He commented: “I am really happy we could help this outstanding Pre-school with their Christmas raffle. Educating our young people is so important, and it is heartening to learn of charities such asCherry Burton Pre-school doing such amazing work with local children on such tight budgets. Claire Newton, Pre-school Manager, was overwhelmed by the generous support of this Beverley business, adding “Support like this makes all the difference to our Pre-school, and we are so grateful to Mark and all the staff at Woolley & Parks for their help. We are a very small charity with ambitious plans and aspirations for both our Pre-school and our children. Support such as this helps to make our plans a reality.”
Cherry Burton Pre-school is hoping to raise £3,000 this year to revamp its outdoor area, including an outdoor classroom and nature room to ensure children can play outdoors and observe nature, whatever the weather.
Sally Granger, Chair of the Cherry Burton Pre-school Committee, explained: “Outdoor play is such a vital, fun part of a child’s education and development. It opens up a whole new world for them, and we want to encourage that as much as possible. This year we are determined to transform our outdoor play areas to make it even more exciting and stimulating for our children to enjoy. It would be wonderful if other local businesses would follow Woolley & Parks’ example and support our fundraising campaign.”
